Mother K is a kink and poly therapist/counsellor, as well as an artist and activist based in Copenhagen.
Driven by a never-ending curiosity about religious sects, witchcraft, and artistic alchemy, she has travelled through many countries exploring the ways people relate to the unknown, alongside her formal education as a psychotherapist and costume designer.
In her daily work, Mother K supports clients from across Europe with kink- and poly-related topics. Alongside her therapeutic work, she is an active part of the Copenhagen art scene, creating theatre, performance art, sculptures, and paintings.

She also draws on extensive personal experience in lived BDSM dynamics, bringing both professional expertise and first-hand understanding to her facilitation.
Over the years, she has developed a unique facilitation style rooted in her exploration of BDSM as a path of healing and transformation, ceremony, power dynamics, safe fear, and deep sensual surrender, always grounded in warmth and humour.
She is also a tantra coach with a deep appreciation for slowness and presence and has facilitated numerous kink workshops, both independently and in collaboration with organisations such as Taboo Festival (Germany) and House of Play (Denmark).
Mother K is also Dorte Holbek.
