Mike (he/him) is a facilitator in the field of Conscious Kink and BDSM. Together with Steffi, he creates spaces where experiential learning, conscious connection, and embodied practice are at the heart of the experience. His work focuses on supporting people in developing safety, clarity, and curiosity within intense dynamics and making these qualities tangible and accessible in practice.
He brings more than 30 years of lived BDSM experience into his work, shaping the way he approaches dynamics, responsibility, and the many different expressions of roles, relationships, and power exchange.
In 2017, he co-founded “Kinky Explorer” together with Steffi. Their intention was to create a learning space where technique, body awareness, and interpersonal dynamics are not seen as separate aspects, but as part of one integrated experience. A core value of Kinky Explorer is the understanding that both Tops and bottoms can shape their roles with greater awareness, (self-)responsibility, and freedom, while seeing themselves as part of the same team in which both actively contribute to creating an experience together.
Together with Steffi, Mike is also the co-founder and host of the HAVEN Festival. HAVEN was created from the vision of building a carefully held space for Conscious BDSM, a festival centered around learning, experience, and community. Through workshops, shared practice, and collective reflection spaces, HAVEN creates an environment where consumption is not the focus, but rather shared exploration, growth, and meaningful connection. At its core is the question of how intense experiences, mindfulness, and authentic connection can intertwine within a living and supportive community grounded in consent, clarity, and care.
Mike brings a calm, grounded, and structured presence into his work. With a clear eye for processes, dynamics, and practical implementation, he supports people in integrating their experiences and engaging with them more consciously.
